Sinopse: É uma série de televisão norte-americana de drama e aventura, que começa com o acidente de um avião, que saiu de Sydney, Austrália com destino a Los Angeles, EUA, mas que caiu numa misteriosa ilha tropical do Oceano Pacífico. A série tem um estilo único que segue dois tipos de histórias não ligados entre si: primeiro, a luta dos 48 sobreviventes do desastre para sobreviver e viver juntos na ilha, e segundo, a vida das personagens principais, antes do desastre, através de retrospectivas pessoais. A série foi criada por Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams e Damon Lindelof, que é agora o escritor principal, e é filmada em Oahu, Havai.
